Bringr is a community for sharing information designed by and for women.
Bringr works because users submit stories, then other users can "bring" stories that they like. If something gets enough brings, it will make it from the unbrung page to the brung page.
How do your "bring" an article?
Users submit new stories to bringr.
These new stories appear on the unbrung page. The most recently submitted posts will be on top.
If you see something you like when reading through unbrung stories, bring it!
The more brings a story gets, the more likely it will get to the front brung page.
Wherever a story is, you can comment on it and read other's comments
Is there any easier way to submit articles to bringr?
Great idea. We have started developing a bookmarklet for just that purpose. Check out our Bringr Submit Bookmarklet page for download and install instructions.
What code is used for the site?
Bringr appreciates the authors who have released their code into the public to help our project come to life.
Bringr is based on Pligg, an English version of Meneame. The original source for Pligg was authored by Ricardo Galli. He was influenced by the extremely popular technology site Digg.
